I posted a great Doug Wilson quote on “Why Masculine Worship Matters” over on the ClearNote Blog. What does this have to do with fatherhood?

Let me ask you a question: How many sons have been turned off by being asked to sing homoerotic worship songs in a pitch that Mariah Carey can barely reach? Quite a few. Our churches are hemorrhaging men at an insane pace and overly-feminine worship is certainly part of this phenomenon. So, fathers, you need to think about this issue long and hard.

P.S. Yes, I’m sure some daughters have also been turned off by the one or two churches that have overly-masculine worship. But, lets be real. Those churches are about as common as Jewish David Duke supporter.
